Lagu yang dinyanyikan kontestan Miss world yang biasanya dinyanyikan diakhir acara merupakan sejarah yang menarik dan bagian yang penting dari festival Miss World.

Pada tahun 2008, para kontestan Miss World diundang untuk mengambil bagian dalam acara khusus untuk memilih lagu resmi untuk Olimpiade Beijing. Para kontestan merekam 'Light the passion, Share the dream', yang ditulis oleh Sylver.

Hebatnya lagu ini karena bisa menyingkirkan lebih dari 10.000 lagu lain untuk menjadi lagu tema resmi untuk seluruh upacara Olimpiade Beijing. Itu adalah kehormatan yang nyata bagi semua orang yang terlibat dalam lagu ini.

Lagu ini mengkarakterisasi upacara penutupan festival Miss World, dan semua kontestan atau kandidatat Miss World yang telah mengambil bagian sejak tahun 2008 telah berdiri untuk melakukan lagu ini.
